2007-2011 ALTIMA; GLOVE BOX ASSEMBLY SERVICE PART CHANGE

APPLIED VEHICLES: 2007-2011 Altima Coupe, Hybrid, Sedan (C/L32/HV)

SERVICE INFORMATION

If the glove box assembly on an Applied Vehicle needs to be replaced for any reason, perform steps 1-3 of the Service Procedure below to determine

if one of the attaching clips on the new assembly must be modified prior to installation.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Place the glove box assembly on a surface where it will not get damaged, such as a workbench with suitable covering.

2. Locate the RH side attaching clip on the glove box assembly. See above for location.

3. Using the images below, identify which type of clip is on the glove box assembly.

^ If the clip is TYPE A: Proceed with step 4 below.

^ If the clip is TYPE B: This bulletin does not apply. Proceed with installation of the glove box assembly.

4. Modify the clip.

a) Starting at the top of the clip, measure 18 mm downward and draw a line across the clip.

b) Use a suitable tool to cut off the portion of the clip below the drawn line.

c) Confirm the clip height is now 18 mm.

5. Proceed with installation of the glove box assembly.
